Artist notes:
There are a handful of these incredibly colorful Rainbow Eucalyptus trees here in Maui, Hawai’i. I’ve seen a few nice pics of them over the years, but none that were shot like this, so I spent an afternoon waiting for the right light to get this tree in the most telling light.
I love this perspective as it shows the grandeur of these massive trees. The sun peaking in from behind the leaves on the left adds a great element to the shot that really sets it off.
