Artist notes:
I love water and waterfalls. Shooting them with medium to small apertures and getting the gentle silky water look is so calming to me. This shot is of a small waterfall nestled far up in the hills of Lana’i, Hawai’i. It’s one of those “blink and you’ll miss it” kind of places, and its a good thing I didn’t blink. I like all the elements in this shot quite a bit. From the blues of the water to the popping greens on the leaves, this shot gives me an overwhelming sense of serenity.
